An internationally renowned Italian cheese expert, she is famous for winning the title of Miglior Assaggiatrice di Formaggi d’Italia (Best Cheese Taster of Italy) in 2019 and for her constant commitment to promoting cheese culture through training, education, and communications.
A consultant, taster, and educator, she collaborates with corporate brands, protection consortia, trade show organizations, and agri-food businesses, designing training courses, events, competitions, and promotional activities dedicated to the world of cheese. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Guilde Internationale des Fromagers – Italy Delegation, representing her country at major international industry events.
A judge at the world’s most prestigious international cheese competitions—including the World Cheese Awards, the Mondial du Fromage, and ExpoQueijo Brasil—she combines her evaluation work with digital education, presenting cheese as an expression of territories, people, and cultures. Through her project I Formaggi di Valentina, she promotes a fresh narrative of dairy heritage, helping to spread cheese culture across Italy and around the globe.
