An internationally renowned American cheese expert, she is famous for becoming the first American in history to win the title of Meilleure Fromagère du Monde at the prestigious Mondial du Fromage 2025 in France.
A cheesemonger, food educator, and consultant, she began her career working for Eataly New York Flatiron, managing the private events program and helping to develop the cooking school’s educational curriculum.
Emilia has worked behind some of New York’s largest and most well-known cheese counters, runs classes and events across the country, and provides consulting services for dairy shops. She is currently the Sales & Marketing Manager for Formaticum, a company specializing in professional tools and storage paper for cheese. She lives in Philadelphia with her partner Tommy Amorim, who is also a famous cheesemonger and one of the thirty stars of B2Cheese.
