The new “Milk in Schools” 2026-2027 call for tenders provides 6.2 million euros for the free distribution of milk, yogurt, and cheeses in Italian primary schools
The initiative, funded by the European Union and promoted by the Ministry of Agriculture, does not only concern the distribution of products. The program also includes educational workshops, guided tastings, visits to farms and dairies, and activities dedicated to the quality, seasonality, and sustainability of production.
In a market where eating habits, languages, and perceptions are changing, making the value of milk, yogurt, and cheese known to new generations means building awareness, not just promoting products.
Dairy companies, cooperatives, consortia, and associative forms interested in participating can submit their application by July 31, 2026.
